KGT Covid 19 Protocol – Proof of Vaccination

Based on the latest health advice, from Monday, 31 January 2022, KGT trainees, employees and apprentices who do have medical exemptions will be required to provide proof of vaccination to access our facilities. All attendees will be required to fill in our COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver.

Proof of vaccination can be shown via:

  • The Service WA app
  • Medicare app
  • COVID-19 digital certificate
  • Immunization history statement

KGT has a duty of care to provide our staff, visitors and stakeholders with the requisite standard of health and safety in the office environment and we appreciate your cooperation with these requests. We will continue to monitor government guidelines and update our practices and policies accordingly.

KGT is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 and following the guidance from Australian Government Health Authorities.

KGT’s priority is the safety and well-being of our employees, Australian Apprentices and KGT’s extended family (apprentices, trainees, labour hire employees, Kimberley region and stakeholders.

To help our community mitigate the risk of COVID-19 we recommend the below:

  • Get vaccinated. It is the best way to protect your community from the COVID virus.
  • If you’re sick, get tested and call your doctor or clinic
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing, dispose of tissues immediately after use and wash your hands or apply hand sanitiser.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who has cold or flu-like symptoms.
  • Maintain social distancing of 1.5 meters and avoid shaking hands when greeting people.
